Relax in a truly magnificent way, enjoy a monastic retreat with ZEN- Archery and ZEN Meditaion.

Enjoy a weekend retreat in the monastery St. Clemens on the island of Nonnenwerth in the middle of the river Rhein, near Bonn, Germany.
Next date: 27th of August till 29th of August 2010
Nuns of the Franciscan Order live and work at St. Clemens.
The island can only be visited if one has been invited.
Only registered names will be taken across to the island,
tourism as such is therefore unknown on the island.
It is truly exclusive.
You are herewith cordially invited to join me, Harry Mark, at the
monastery St. Clemens on the island of Nonnenwerth for
ZEN - Archery and ZEN - Meditation.
The way of the Bow, as taught by Harry Mark, is not a competitive sport and marksmanship is regarded as relatively unimportant. The ultimate goal of ZEN - Archery is to achieve a state of no mind at the time the arrow is released. ZEN –Archery is “Standing meditation", and as such, is a true contemplative art.
The weekend includes:
Zen-Archery and Zen-Meditation, Zazen and Kinhin. 2 nights accommodation in a single room at the monastery with full board on the island Nonnenwerth, near Bonn, Germany. Return fare with the ferry. Bows, arrows, arm- and finger guards are supplied.
It all begins with the first arrow.
Please call for reservations, thanks.
My name is Harry Mark.
Phone: 0049 - 201 - 266 75 47.
The island of Nonnenwerth lies 100 km south of the airport Düsseldorf and around 45 km south of the airport Köln/Bonn (Cologne/Bonn).
Transport from the airports to the island of Nonnenwerth and return can be arranged. Please contact me early if you require this service. Thanks.
